Wakulima Agri-Food Company Ltd is a social enterprise in Tanzania that exists to transform the lives of smallholder farmers in Tanzania - because we’ve lived their struggles. Born from the pain of losing a sibling to malnutrition, our founder started Wakulima to break cycles of hunger and poverty through innovation and inclusion.
We combine digital tools, climate-smart agriculture, and market access to uplift rural women, youth, and communities. Our mission is rooted in justice: empowering farmers to grow nutritious food, earn dignified incomes, and build a healthier future. Wakulima is more than a business—it’s a purpose-driven movement to ensure social impact whereby no farmer is left behind and no child goes hungry.
